Spaghetti Making

One night for dinner Pat helped the kids make homemade pasta.  The kids really enjoyed it.  It was after a long day at the pool so getting them to smile was a bit of a strain at times. :)  Each one had a melt down before the evening was over.  Too much fun in the sun!

Colorado Train Museum

After zip lining we went for a tour of the train museum.  The kids loved climbing on top of all the trains and checking out the old station.  (Not sure they were really suppose to be climbing but that is what they enjoyed the most.)

It rained the first three days of being here.  We were starting to go a little stir crazy with the drive and then the rain but finally we got some sunshine long enough to go out zip lining!  The kids had a blast!!!!

Colorado Road Trip

My sister Cindy and I took a road trip to Colorado.  It was a longgggggggg drive!  We took a few stops along the way.  One of the stops was at the Salt rocks.  I think that was what they are called.  I nearly had a heart attack watching the kids climb especially Garrett!   I didn't want to encourage him by taking a picture but he was doing handstands on the tops of these rocks!  I thought I would die watching him.  He loves freaking me out!  I hate heights especially dangerous ones like this.  I won't be stopping again on the way home!!!

Seaside Lagoon Birthday Party

My nephew Griffin and Travis had their b-days on July 1 and 2.  We celebrated at the Seaside Lagoon.  All of the kids have enjoyed going there every summer since I can remember.  I grew up going there also.  We have so many good memories there.

Visit with Michelle

I got to spend a few hours before we left North Carolina visiting with my cousin Michelle and her kids.  I sure miss her and can't believe how big her kids are getting!  She has the cutest little house in a very rural area of North Carolina.
