Garrett's New Hobby

One would think that swimming would be a great summertime choice when it is in the 90's outside but these boys would disagree!  They do enjoy a dip in the pool after to cool off.  Garrett seems to find a group of boys to go out airsofting several times a week.  I think it is a great way to keep them outdoors and running around.  I love it that they can just plain enjoy being boys without getting into trouble (at least so far! :o))

 I just got photo shop and am practicing on a couple of pictures.  It is much harder than I thought it would be.  I have been learning off of YouTube.  I wonder how long it will take me to actually like something I have done????

Visitor

The Vanderburg family went to Ukraine  the same time we did and brought home three beautiful girls.  Miranda is the middle girl.  Melissa asked if we would be willing to letMiranda stay with us for a week while she and her husband went on a late anniversary vacation to Mexico.  Miranda has been a pleasure to have around.She and Morgan have become the best of buddies.  We have swam or gone to the beach nearly every day this week!

Family Swim Day!

Halley and HerMan!

Halley has a new friend named Herman.  They love to chase each other around the yard.  Herman is a puppy only a couple of months younger than Halley.  Our friends were going to be gone a couple of days and asked if Halley could come over and play with Herman for awhile to help tire him out.  They were both exhaused after they played.  I think Herman has now become HerMan!  LOL!



Another Early Father's Day!

We had another Father's Day celebration with my Dad and brother-in-law on Saturday.  Kevin wanted to just relax and watch golf on the actual day.  My sisters and I made dinner for the family. 

 Morgan has been making things out of duck tape as a craft this summer.  That girl can make anything!  She made my dad a wallet for Father's Day and told me to be sure and get it to him.  She wrote #1 grandpa on the front of it!  She is so thoughtful. 

 Notice she even used a piece of plastic for the pocket of the drivers license.

Dad got lots of candy for Father's Day!  I hope he is planning on sharing some of it! HA!

Leaving for Camp

It is always important to embarrass your kids before sending them off to camp!  I bet they are having a blast!  I miss them!

Early Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day early because Garrett and Morgan were leaving for camp before the weekend.  They each got him a card and bought Kevin a ring as a group gift.  It was a ring that has the Lord's Prayer engraved on it.  Kevin loved it!

Beach Day

 Oh I remember the days of carting half your house to the beach!  I miss my babies but not the load and all the work it takes to go somewhere!

You simply can't keep her away from this little guy!
