We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! The air was fresh and the sunshine was bright! The kids and dogs both had a great time swimming, climbing and looking for sea creatures.

Wigillia
Our Polish Christmas celebration "Wigillia." This year we celebrated Wigillia dinner with Kevin's family the week before Christmas. Always a pleasure to have this meal which consists of fish, perogis, potatoes, beans with sourkraut and sweet bread. A meal we look forward to all year long! I made my first batch of sweet bread this year for my hubby. It turned out great and Kevin was so pleased that I made it. He usually does it but wasn't able to this year. Mary made homemade perogis which are always a bit hit! All I can say is YUM!
Christmas Tea
My mom started a tradition a few years ago where she takes a to tea for our annual Girls Christmas Party. This year she was able to find a beautiful tea house in Long Beach. It was a very enjoyable time with my sisters and a couple of my mom's friends. We were only missing one of us...my sister Ronnette. Wish she could have been there.

Tree Trimming
The Christmas season officially begins when the tree is trimmed! When my kids were younger I used to like the tree decorated a certain way, then I realized that it meant a lot to them to do the decorating. I handed it over to them and now I am the photographer capturing the moments. I wouldn't have it any other way right now because I see how quickly they are growing up and becoming less interested. It will be a sad day when I have to decorate the tree again! I will miss watching the joy it brings to them.
